Upcoming Events

Dear friends and supporters of the ICACO,

Greetings. 

Hereby, we would like to inform and update you about the following issues:

1) Our first upcoming event is the Poetry Gathering, celebrating Rumi (Moulana), on Sunday, Feb 23rd from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Location: The Upper Arlington Library. Please join us and enjoy a gathering with Poem-lovers in Columbus.

Light refreshments will be provided. 

2) First Chaharshanbeh Suri celebration with Official Permit and all the officially required Approvals.

Date: Tuesday, March 18th, from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The Charmy's will prepare Aash and sandwiches. 

Location: The Big Walnut Park 

Please do not miss this event that will be an exciting, fun and unforgettable experience with the presence of a few firefighters from the Fire Department. Children will love it.

3) The 2025 Nowruz Celebration on Saturday, March 22nd, from 5:30 pm to 11:45 pm at Villa Milano Banquet Hall.

Please be informed that all the tickets are only sold online and at Eventbrite site. We have a limited number of tickets/seats available in the hall. 

If you plan to attend our Nowruz party, please secure your ticket(s) as early as possible as the tickets are sold very quickly, and benefit from our early bird discounted price. Also, please be informed that in less than 24 hours (since yesterday), 50% of the tickets are already gone. We would also like to extend our special thanks to all those friends who have kindly already responded in the past 24 hours and have secured their tickets for the Nowruz party. 

4) 13-bedar gathering on Sunday, April 6th, from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm at Park of Roses.

Finally, we need your help to spread these words to all your friends and families and ask them to send us an email if they want to receive emails about our announcements. Our email address is:   info@icacolumbusoh.org

Also, if you know some Iranians have handicaps and they would like to attend our Nowruz Party, please inform them that we have blocked 2 tables (Tables 40 and 41 on the table map on the site) for our guests with handicaps and their family and/or friends if they are interested. 

If we do not hear any interest/requests from anybody in this regard until Feb 20th, then we will release the blocks and those seats will go on general sale.
